Rally on the River for Breast Cancer Awareness

2009 Coaching School will be held in Austin. Check back soon for more information and how to get involved.

Registration
San Antonio area wives welcomed us as we arrived in town. They worked hard all year to plan this years event and it was such a success. For more information about helping with local wives events in your area check out our wives forum.
Silent Auction for Breast Cancer Awareness
This year's theme was Rally at the River so the San Antonio area wives pulled together with donated gift baskets and auctioned them off in a silent auction. We were able to present $1500 to the Breast Cancer Awareness campaign. Thanks for the donations!
Shopping!
Who doesn't love to at least browse through shops and boutiques? There was such a nice variety of booths to shop at this year.
Bingo!
"Standing room only" Bingo is what THSCWA is all about! Door prizes are donated from wives across the state as well as local businesses. This is the time to grab a seat and catch up with old friends from previous school stops or to relax with new friends from a new staff. Either way, the wives can be JUST as competitive as the husbands.
Husbands and children are welcome as well!
Several men show up for couple's bingo on Tuesday and compete for prizes as well. If you don't have a babysitter, don't worry, we have kid's prizes too so bring them along!
Luncheon and Style Show
All the wives gather in a ballroom or banquet hall the Tuesday of Coaching School for a Luncheon and Style Show. This is where we award the scholarships, name our Woman of the Year, and enjoy a guest speaker while eating fabulous food.
Style Show
Do you want to be a model for a day? At coaching school all the models in the style show are coaches wives. We see fall fashions for every occasion and get some nice coupons to shop with for their clothes.
Susan Keeling
Who will follow Mrs. Keeling's speech at Tuesday's luncheon? She had most of us in tears of joy for our jobs as a coaches wife. Thank you so much Mrs. Keeling, we all thoroughly enjoyed your speech.
Woman of the Year
The 2008 Woman of the Year, voted by her peers, was Carlynn Gardner. Her family was able to be present for her honorable moment. Congratulations Carlynn!
